Taking Ground Celebration Sunday

On Sunday 18 May, we have two exciting opportunities to gather as the ‘Taking Ground’ network of churches to celebrate our great God together!

Our celebration services will take place at 9am and 11am at The Oakwood and will be a wonderful expression of unity across our seven Taking Ground churches. During the services, we’ll come together in prayer and worship, led by the Taking Ground live band. We’d also love you to join us for tea and coffee in the sports hall after both services.

Everyone is welcome to attend either service, but we encourage our Tees Valley Community Church family to come to the earlier service, if possible, to make more space for those travelling from other churches.

There will be children’s provision for ages 2–11 at both services, but pre-booking is essential, as places are limited. Our Taking Ground volunteers will be running sessions for children aged 2 up to reception age, and we’ve invited the local charity BiG KIDS to lead groups for school years 1–6.

You can find out more about BiG KIDS here!

If you could book your children in as soon as possible, that would be a huge help in allowing us to plan well for numbers:

After the services, we invite you to join us for the Taking Ground picnic party! Bring your lunch and eat with us from 12:30pm, followed by fun and games, crafts, and a bouncy castle, all starting at 1pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
